Our efforts are centered around our clients’ needs at all times. Patent and utility law & trademark and design law
Our field of competence equally spans national and international patent and utility model law as well as national and international trademark and design law. Owed to strengthening of design protection in the European Union in recent years, the prosecution and enforcement of registered designs both nationally and internationally has gained importance to many of our clients.
Employee inventions, licencing and litigation
Furthermore we assist our clients in issues relating to the legislation of employee inventions (ArbEG), licencing, and litigation. We are registered to represent clients before the German Patent and Trademark Office, before the European Union Intellectal Property Office (EUIPO), and before the International Bureau of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva. In cooperation with our longstanding network of German attorneys-at-law we co-represent our clients before all competent German district courts in all matters related to infringements of intellectual property rights. In the field of trademark law our practice has seen a number of cases concerning collisions between registered trademarks and identical domains registered by third parties.
