Christoph Norrenbrock studied electrical engineering and information technology at RWTH Aachen University with emphases on audio and image signal processing and communication technology; diploma thesis in the field of signal enhancement for hearing aids; graduation in 2009; further research activity since 2010 at Kiel University in cooperation with the Technical University of Berlin with emphases on digital speech-signal processing, speech synthesis, model-based quality estimation and machine learning; Dr.-Ing. degree in engineering sciences since 2014.

Patent-attorney training with a renowned IP firm in Munich including legal studies at the Distance-Learning University of Hagen and training periods at the Mannheim District court, the German Patent and Trade Mark Office (DPMA), and the Federal Patent Court (BPatG) in Munich; Patent attorney since 2017.
